The short version
This website sets no cookies. It also stores nothing else on your device: no local storage, no session storage, no device fingerprinting, no advertising or retargeting tags.
We measure how many people visit and which pages they read, but we do it without identifying anyone and without storing anything on your computer. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived.
This policy covers the marketing website at suggestionox.com. The Suggestion Ox application at app.suggestionox.com is a separate, logged-in product and is described further down.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store on your device. They are commonly used to keep you logged in, to remember preferences, and to recognise you across visits or across different websites.
That last use, recognising the same person over time and across sites, is what most cookie banners are really about. It is also the use we have chosen to do without on this website.
Cookies on this website
None. Loading any page on suggestionox.com sets zero cookies.
We previously ran a tag manager here that loaded Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Leadfeeder, and advertising tags for Google and Microsoft. In August 2026 we removed all of it. If you visited this site before that date, your browser may still be holding cookies from those services. You can clear them using the browser instructions in Your choices below, and nothing on this site will set them again.
How we measure traffic without cookies
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, in place of the tools listed above.
Plausible does not use cookies and does not store anything on your device. It does not collect or store personal information, does not create a persistent profile of you, and cannot follow you to other websites. Everything it reports to us is aggregate: how many people viewed a page, which site or search engine referred them, roughly what country they were in, and whether they submitted one of our forms.
We use that to answer questions like which articles are worth updating and whether people can find our pricing page. We cannot use it to identify you, and neither can we single out one person's activity.
Embedded third-party content
One page embeds content from another company, and that company applies its own policies inside its own frame.
Calendly provides the scheduling calendar on our demo booking page. The calendar runs inside a frame served by calendly.com. If you interact with it to book a call, Calendly may set its own cookies under its own domain, governed by Calendly's privacy policy rather than this one. Simply loading our page does not create a Calendly account or share your identity with them. If you never open that page, Calendly is never contacted.
Cookies in the Suggestion Ox app
The application at app.suggestionox.com is a logged-in product rather than a public website, and it does use a small number of strictly necessary cookies. These keep you signed in as you move between pages and protect the forms you submit against cross-site request forgery. They exist to make the service work at all. Without them you could not stay logged in.
These are not analytics or advertising cookies, they are not shared with third parties for marketing, and they are not used to build a profile of you.
Anonymity in the product is a separate and stronger commitment, and it is covered in the Privacy Policy: responses submitted through a suggestion box are anonymous by default, and IP addresses and device data are not stored alongside them.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because a site wants to store something on your device that is not strictly necessary, and the law requires it to ask first. We do not store anything on this website, so there is nothing to ask about, and a banner would be a box to click with no meaning behind it.
This applies to visitors everywhere, including the European Union and European Economic Area. We have not made the more common choice of running tracking technology and asking you to accept it. We removed the tracking instead.
Your choices
Because this site stores nothing, there is nothing here to opt out of. If you want to clear cookies set by any website, including ones this site set before August 2026, your browser controls them:
To learn more about cookies generally, see aboutcookies.org or allaboutcookies.org.
Blocking cookies in the Suggestion Ox app will prevent you from staying logged in, since the cookies it uses are the ones that hold your session.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our own practices. If we ever reintroduce anything that stores data on your device, we will update this page before doing so and add whatever consent mechanism the law requires. Any change becomes effective when the revised policy is posted here with an updated date.
